Having coffee, reading a book

Yesterday my absolutely stunning girlfriend and I decided we're gonna start scouting for nice coffee shops where we can go sit on nice comfortable couches, have some coffee and just sit and read a book or two, while being in each others company.

So, yesterday evening was the start of this endeavor. We went to a well known bookshop here in Centurion (which is a suburb of Pretoria in South Africa) at the Centurion Mall called Exclusive Books. Now they have a very nice selection of books, and whats more is they are sort of part of a little coffee shop called Seattle Coffee.

So inside the book store there is this huge leather couch where anyone can basically go sit and have coffee and read. Which is exactly what we did. Luckily, nobody was sitting there, so we had this couch all to ourselves.

We ordered Tall Mochas, which is basically a coffee/chocolate mix in a huge navy mug. I must admit I actually enjoyed it, even though I'm not much of a coffee drinker. This cost us ZAR 17 each (that translates to about 2.27 US Dollars, 1.71 Euros or 1.17 British Pound). A bit steep, but if you're an overseas visitor, you'll find this very reasonable!

Anyway, to order, you basically have to go to the counter, place your order, and when its ready one of the waitresses will shout whatever it is that you ordered, then you come and fetch it yourself.

Well, we sat there until the place closed, so it was quite a pleasant experience!

Till next time!
